The world of 24-hour services has never been better. You’ll be making a wise choice when you apply for your Collegedale Credit Union Automatic Teller card.

Linked through the STAR network, you have one of the most complete systems of automatic tellers anywhere at your service.

With your ATM card you can inquire about your account balance, make deposits* and withdrawals, borrow on your line of credit or make a transfer.

*This feature available only at the Fleming Plaza (CCU) location.

VISA Debit Card

The VISA Debit Card makes everyday purchasing quick and easy, because it works like a check, and it's safer than carrying cash. Even better, there's no need to show ID, or wait for approval--so you're in and out of stores in no time. You can use the VISA Debit Card wherever VISA is accepted. Visa debit cards have unsurpassed acceptance in more than 150 countries worldwide, giving you purchasing power whether you are at home or traveling.

The VISA Debit Card also acts like an ATM Card. You can use it at 4000,000 ATMs in the VISA/PLUS Global ATM Network. The VISA Debit Card is so easy to use, why carry anything else?

To qualify for a debit card, you must be 17 or older and have a checking account at CCU. All applications are subject to credit approval.

Debit Card: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why isn’t my debit card being approved for transactions?

A: Some possible reasons could be that you have insufficient funds, you have a loan payment that is past due, or you have exceeded your spending limit for the day.

Q: I need to purchase an item online/over the phone and the amount is greater than $1000.00, what do I do?

A: Contact Member Services at 423.396.2101 ext. 5 during business hours in order to raise your “not present” debit limit temporarily.

Q: What are the extra 3 digits found on the signature strip on the back of the card?

A: Those digits allow online access with your debit card as well as protection to prevent fraudulent use of your account.

Q: My debit card is going to expire next month, do I have to reorder a new one?

A: No, a new card will be sent before the end of the expiration month, you will need to re-activate the card by calling the 1-800 number.

Q: How much does it cost to have a debit card?

A: There is a $1 per month per account fee. Student, Premier and Share Draft Plus accounts are exempt from the monthly fee.

Q: My card is cracking, can I get a new one?

A: Yes, there is a $5 replacement fee.

Q: My card was lost/stolen, what do I do?

A: Call 1-800-472-3272.

Q: Someone is making transactions on my card without my authorization, what do I do?

A: Report the card lost/stolen first, then contact Member Services at (423) 396-2101 ext. 5 to discuss fraudulent activity and the actions that will be taken.

Q: What do I do if I forgot my PIN?

A: Bring in your debit card and a form of identification (i.e. Driver’s License) during normal business hours (Monday – Friday). We can mail you a PIN reminder.

Q: Can I change my PIN?

A: You are now able to change your PIN at the ATM machine.

A Credit Card to Meet Your Needs

Collegedale Credit Union offers you a choice of three of the most popular credit card options available; and, no matter which you choose, there’s no annual fee. To be eligible for our VISA credit cards, you must have a Share Account with the credit union.

•	VISA Grace Card is for those who carry a balance from month to month, VISA Grace allows up to 25 days on credit card purchases without accumulating interest.
•	VISA Non-Grace Card is perfect for the occasional credit card user. We suggest that everyone keep a credit card handy for emergencies, business or unexpected purchases.
•	Share Secured Card is fully secured by your own share deposits. This handy credit card carries our absolute lowest interest rate and is available with a grace or non-grace option. See VISA Rates
